one of our customer will have done through your contacts. Well, what happens if the company that manage the Affiliation Marketing has many affiliated and the merchant wants to become one of its
customer? Simply, the merchant's banner will be put for free on all the other affiliated web-sites and automatically the visibility of his web-site will increase exponentially. Before the birth of the
Affiliation Marketing programs, the web-site of any merchant was "alone", now many persons publicize his products for free.
In this way the possibility for any web-surfer to find the merchant's banner is higher than before, so even the selling possibilities increase. The commission on sales, the merchant's payment to the
Affiliation Marketing Company, will be paid just if an internet surfer goes in one of the affiliated web
sites, clicks on the banner and goes directly to the merchant web-site, where he finds a product he
was looking for and he buys it. What I have just described it is called Pay for Performance System.
At the same time the webmaster of the affiliated web-site will get a commission from the Affiliation Marketing Company just for having sold the merchant's product.
All this process is obviously managed by a "tracing software" that records every sale already made through the affiliated web-site.
All the "actors", Company, Merchant and Affiliated need some qualifications: The Company needs interesting affiliation programs to get the attention of the "potential affiliated persons".
The Affiliated needs a good web-site with interesting contents, well done and visible on web.
The Merchant needs a good web site, too. It has to be fast and conceived for internet selling, not "random". Have a nice Affiliation Marketing!
